Wilda Barr Steele, age 90, a resident of Banks, Alabama died Thursday, June 13, 2013.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 16, 20113 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Gerald Maddox officiating.  Interment will follow in Banks Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 16, 2013 form 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mrs. Steele is survived by her brother, John Dixon Barr, Jr. (Jean W.) of Banks; daughter-in-law, Suanne Sellers Steele of Knoxville, TN; grandchild, Lucia McLeod Levins (David) of Knoxville; TN, great-grandchildren, Joseph Steele Levins of Knoxville, TN and Xander P. Levins of Knoxville, TN; niece, Suzanne B. Clemmons of Brundidge (Mike) and Nephew, John Dixon Barr, III of Banks.

She was preceded in death by her husband Norval Dale Steele and son John Allen Steele.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
