One person is in custody following a burglary Wednesday afternoon, and police are searching for a second suspect.

Troy police responded to a report of residents walking in on two people in their house in the 100 block of West Orange Street approximately 3:50 p.m., according to Lt. Bryan Weed, TPD spokesman.

Both suspects fled the scene when the residents arrived. Officers were able to catch one person, while the other person is still at-large.

Weed said police were searching for a black man wearing a black shirt and gray pants. No other description was available.

As of Wednesday evening, charges had not been filed formally against the suspect in custody.

More information is expected later today as TPD continues to investigate.
