James Herbert Boutwell age 81 of Brundidge died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the V.A. Medical Center in Birmingham.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 20, 2013 at 10:00 am from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with Reverend Chad Manion officiating burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge Directing.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

He is survived by is wife Doris Boutwell of Brundidge, 2 children, Kay Boutwell Spiehler of Daphne and  Jamey Boutwell of Brundidge; brother, Orlin boutwell of Daleville, and 2 grandchildren Steven Spiehler of Minneapolis, MN and Whitney Spiehler of Hattiesburg, MS

Honorary pallbearers will be the Fishers of Men Sunday School Class and Mr. Jerry Reynolds.

Mr. Boutwell served during the Korean War as a member of the U.S. Army. He was retired from the Brundidge Electric Company and was a 3 sport athelete at Enterprise High School.
