Charles J. Smith, age 77 of Jack, Al, died May 6, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Green Hills Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kenneth Chancellor officiating. Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8, 2013 two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. He retired as a school teacher and assistant coach from Zion Chapel School.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Austin Smith. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Guynnette Smith; son, Alan Smith (Lisa); daughter, Kim Carroll (Terry); brother, Ronnie Smith; sisters, Carolyn Senn (J.C.) and Betty Jean Morris; grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Jessie Carroll Grant (Todd), Ciara Smith Legg (Jacob) and great grandchild, Cadence Legg.

Pallbearers will be Keiff Lambert, Don Senn, Barry Farris, Clay Williamson, Dwan Pope and Stevie Walden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hebron Baptist Church Youth.
