Mary Edna Beard Shirley, age 93, of the Good Hope Community, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center in Montgomery. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 at11:00 AM from the Good Hope Baptist Church with Reverend W.O. Sanders, Reverend Wayne Locklar and Dr. Malone Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. There will be a one hour lie in state at the church prior to the service. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 5-7 PM at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Survivors include; Sons and Daughters-in-law, Ralph and Betty Shirley of Good Hope, Bill and Rita Shirley of Good Hope, Grandchildren, Cindy and Bob Pinard of Destin, Fl., Jim and Jennifer Shirley of Tallahassee, Kevin and Marci Shirley of Good Hope, Great Grandchildren, Amanda (Josh) Beshears, Leeds, Al., Lindsey Creel, Austin, Tx., David Shirley, Tallahassee, Fl., Lauren Shirley , Tallahassee, Fl., Jacob Shirley of Good Hope.

Mrs. Shirley was preceded in death by; her Parents, J.J. and Nettie Beard  Husband, Shelby Sanders Shirley,  Jr.,  Granddaughter,  Kim Shirley.

Serving as pallbearers will be the Deacons of Good Hope Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to  the Good Hope Cemetery Fund.
