Mrs. Judith Stewart Medley of Troy passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at Troy Health and Rehab in Troy. She was 68. Funeral services for Judith Medley will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Angie Peacock doing the eulogy. Burial will follow in Hamilton Crossroads Church of Christ Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation for Mrs. Medley was held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. The family will also receive friends Thursday from 10 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. She was born July 15, 1944 in Troy, AL. to the late Henry Stewart and Mattie Pittman Stewart. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Medley. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Angie (Buddy) Peacock, Pamela Newman and her fiancé, Michael Wilson, Chris (Sonya) Newman, and Robbie Newman, all of Troy; grandchildren: Amanda Peacock, Anna Peacock, Brody Peacock, Ashley Cagle, all of Troy; T.R. Hurst and Robert Newman, both of Troy; Ashley Renee Grace, Heather Elizabeth Newman, Mary Alexandria Newman, Matthew Newman, Molly Newman, and Derron Newman, all of Troy; and Taylor Newman, Montgomery; great grandchildren: Trenton Hurst, Kayden Samples, Tyson Samples, Izik McCullough, and Kholei Brynn Newman all of Troy; mother-in-law: Gladys Medley, sisters and brothers-in-law: Doris (Tip) Boutwell, Springhill; Sue (Lawrence) Catrett, Brantley; and Charlotte Givens, Troy; and a brother and sister-in-law: Bill (Betty) Stewart, Troy.
