Mr. Jerry Cook, age 65, of Ariton, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, march 27, 2013 at Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church in Ariton with Keahey Funderal Home directing. Rev. Anita Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2013 at Pleasant Ridge united Methodist Church.

Survivors include sons, Jerald (Susan) Cook of Ariton, Jeff (Amie) Cook of Enterprise; daughter, Kim Maund of Ariton; sister, Diane (Jack) Harden of Brundidge; grandchildren, Jennifer Cook, Layne Ziglar, Preston Maund, Sara Frances Maund, Jeb Maund, Moll Maund, Ashlyn Cook, Peyton Cook, Jay Cook, Brodie Cook; nephew, David Harden; niece, Allison Peacock; great niece, Bailey Peacock.

Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Langford and Jacob Jerry Cook.

Serving as pallbearers, Ed Sauls, David Harden, Preston Maud, Jeb Maund, Larry Ezell, George Habrey.
