Police have identified the 21-year-old university student involved in a Feb. 4 armed robbery at Troy University.

Christopher Lamar Cook, a sophomore nursing student from Pike Road, was arrested Tuesday.

Cook joins a 14-year-old male arrested late last week for robbing a 20-year-old student at gunpoint near Alumni Hall on Troy University’s campus.

Police are still searching for a third suspect.

The 14-year-old was taken to a juvenile detention area at Troy City Jail and Cook was taken to Pike County Jail to be held on a $60,000 bond.

According to the university’s handbook, The Oracle, it is practice when a student is arrested and charged with a felony, they are suspended pending the outcome of legal proceedings.
