DISCO PEANUT

Published 7:02 pm Tuesday, January 1, 2013

Some Pike County residents rang in 2013 at a disco inspired New Year’s Eve party in Brundidge hosted by studio 116. Early in the evening, festivities included a kids party and later, adults gathered for music and celebration at a disco that included a DJ, lights and smoke. As midnight arrived, a mirrored peanut descended to mark the beginning of a new year. Chris Rich and Sara Dismukes, studio 116 owners pictured top left, said they’d love to make the event an annual one.
