A man police consider to be armed and dangerous could be hiding out in the Troy area, according to authorities in Lake Wales, Fla.
Larry Joe Futrill, 67, of Lake Wales, has an active arrest warrant for three counts of sexual battery on a juvenile victim. He is also a person of interest and wanted for questioning in the Dec. 19 homicide of William McCauley.
The Ledger in Lakeland, Fla. reported that McCauley was killed by a shotgun blast through a window of his mother’s mobile home, where he was visiting.
Police describe Futrill as a white male, 5-feet, 10-inches tall with a thin build, light complexion and white hair.
