Betty Lou Corkins, age 47, of Troy, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Perry Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Lebanon Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Mrs. Corkins was a member of Old Lebanon Baptist Church and was a breast cancer survivor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Avis Hamm. She is survived by her daughters, Ashley Rountree (Timothy), Brittney Corkins (Thadd), and Chelsei Corkins; brothers, Randall Hamm (Arlene), Jimmy Hamm (Karan Marion); sisters, Ginger Morgan (Terry), Robbie Watkins (David); uncles, Wyman Hamm (Jeanette), James Rogers (Margaret Ann); grandchildren, Mason Jones, Emma Katherine Rountree, several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Thadd Jones, Timothy Rountree, John Curry Key, Terry Morgan, David Watkins and Brandon Yancey. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
