Dorothy Johnson, age 79, a resident of Brundidge, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at her home.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 24, at the Brundidge United Methodist Church at 12:00 until 1:00 PM. Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the Brundidge United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Spikes officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge.

Survivors include Johnson’s children, Pamela Johnson Derrick (Cecil), Michael (Marsha) Johnson, Tony Johnson, Robert (Janice) Johnson; sister, Clarice (Tilly) and Thomas Messort; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Johnson, her parents and her sister.

Her Sunday School Class, Agape, will serve as honorary pallbearers. Services are under the direction of Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge.
