SFC William H. Partin, 86, husband of the late Norma G. Slaughter Partin, entered into rest Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Eisenhower Medical Center.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Partin, formerly of Troy, AL, served twenty years in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II.  He retired after fifteen years with the Civil Service and was a member of First Alliance Church.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, William G. and Minnie L. Senn Partin; his daughter, Sharon L. Partin; his sisters, Helen S. Partin Young, and Sandra E. Partin Dyer; and his brother David W. Partin, Col. US Army Retired.

He is survived by his sons, Richard W. Partin, and Harold R. Partin; his grandson, Richard W. Partin, Jr; his granddaughter, Heather L. Partin; his daughter in law, Sarah Minitor Partin; his sister, Josephine Partin Davis; his brother, Rex B. Partin, SFC US Army Retired; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He will be missed by all.
