Mrs. Lois Virginia Rodgers Byrd age 83 of Troy died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Troy Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 19, 2012 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Dr. Ellis Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Green HillsCemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years Junior Byrd of Troy a son Timothy Byrd of Troy, a sister-in-law Wilma Rodgers of Troy, niece Diane Farrior and a nephew Terry (Teresa) Rodgers.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Annie Mae Rodgers and Murl Sheppard Rodgers and a brother Bill Rodgers Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jon Jinright, John Austin, Joe Wilson and John Emfinger.
