Carolyn Mathews Richburg, age 72, of Goshen died September 27, 2012.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Reverend Chase Clower and Reverend Mack King officiating.  Interment will follow in William Carter Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mrs. Richburg is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bernard Richburg, Children Cindy Richburg Freeman of Goshen, Scott Richburg (Gina) of Little Rock, AR and Jason Richburg of Troy, her brother Bobby Mathews (Jean) of Phenix City, Sister-in-law Sibyl McPhail of Florala, Grandchildren Courtney Freeman of Goshen, Shelby Richburg and Colby Richburg of Little Rock, AR and Toler Richburg of Troy and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to nurses and staff of Hospice Advantage and her caregivers for the thoughtful and tender care they provided.
