Brooks, Lillian Johnson, 77, of Brundidge, Alabama, died Sunday, September 16, 2012. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, 2:00 p.m., from Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Earles and Rev. Jimmy Helms officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Thomas M. Brooks; four sisters, two brothers, one grandson, and one great-grandson. She is survived by three sons: George Brooks, Troy, AL, Mike Brooks, Almeria Community and Tony Brooks, Brundidge, AL; daughter, Lisa Brooks Dunn of Union Springs, AL; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 from Gray Funeral Home, Union Springs, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
