Keep fighting Pats! A building year is always a hard year. Coach Grant will lead you in the right direction. We never liked playing against him, but it has to be a great to play for such a legendary coach!

Dang smiling faces on the coaching staff! Come out of that cave and let’s get to work!

Really appreciate the great coverage. I guess that since the kids are struggling you don’t have time to cover them. Funny that you had time to drive to Mobile to cover the mighty Trojans

drabbit77, Thanks for reading and the comment. Actually, I listened to both CHHS and PLAS on the radio but “The Mighty Trojans” sent a scoring summary. It’s a community paper. Sometimes the community has to help with information. Maybe we’ll get more help next time my alma mater, Pike Liberal Arts, hits the road.

Wes is only one person so how can he be expected to cover two games being played at the same time? Why don’t you volunteer your services to the Messenger as a sports stringer and help him out a little bit each week with game stats, reports, and such?

plas will be rebuilding for next several years. if you check out their roster half the team are sr’s so that leaves approx 7-8 soph/jr’s returning next yr. word is there are a bunch a boys up there scared to play. prob playing soccer or something. of the 16 on the team, at least 2 were recruited from goshen. at least they avoided the brawl in the goshen locker room, but they are taking their beating on the field instead!

If I am not mistaken, the couple of Goshen players that left figured they were going to be in the SPOT light at Pike Lib and thought that our coaches here in Goshen weren’t doing enough for them and that’s why they left. Funny thing now is that Pike Lib isn’t giving them the stats that they so eagerly wanted went they left our school, and why leave a school in your Senior Year and one that you have been going to since Kindergarten? All Politics! I also agree with Bulldog, Wes Johnson can’t be out to every game that is played and does his best to update everyone and not just in his articles but maybe you should listen to his Sports Cafe sometime
