Two Troy Parks and Recreation All-Stars teams gave a sneak peak of the what could be seen this summer when tournament season opens. Troy’s Pitching Machine and Dixie Youth Ozone teams were in action on Saturday as part of the Troy Parks and Recreation Warm-up Tournament at the Troy Sportsplex.

The Dixie Youth Ozone squad routed Hartford 19-4 before edging Enterprise Americans 4-3. The Pitching Machine team destroyed Ozark in its opening game 18-2, then pounded Dothan Blue 22-6. Troy would go on to defeat Montgomery Blue 12-1.

The Pitching Machine district tournament begins June 15 in Luverne with Troy playing Eufaula at 6 p.m. Full tournament schedules for all other leagues will be released later this week.
