Coppage-Stearns

Eileen Cassidy Coppage and Barton Daniel Stearns joyfully announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.  Miss Coppage, the daughter of Bo and Daphne Coppage of Troy, grew up in Montgomery with her mother, Kristi, and step-father, Grady Capps.  She is the granddaughter of Thomas and Eileen Williford Walker of Troy, Betty Coppage of Troy, William Coppage of Dothan, and Allen and Ginger Rodgers of Troy.

Miss Coppage is a 2008 graduate of Macon East Montgomery Academy and attends Auburn University.  She will complete her college education in North Carolina after the wedding.

Mr. Stearns is the son of Glenn and Cindy Sims Stearns of Coosada and the grandson of the late Fred H. and Emma Hooper Sims of Montgomery and the late E. F. and Ina M. Stearns, also of Montgomery.

Mr. Stearns is a 2009 graduate of Huntingdon College, with a degree in Cell Biology.  He will graduate from Auburn University in May 2012, with a Master’s degree in Microbiology.

He will begin classes in August at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina in the Physician Assistant Studies Program.

The candlelight garden wedding and reception will take place on June 16 at 6:00 PM in Coosada, at the home of the groom’s parents.
